Forge-Welded Gratings are manufactured from longitudinal plates and twisted or round cross bars, by the method of fusion welding. That means, the cross bars are welded autogenically and are being immersed in the longitudinal plates in specific distances among them, formulating the appropriate square meshes.
This advanced method of production guarantees the quick, cheap and qualitative production of industrial gratings worldwide.
Forge welded gratings are welded in every node (plate – cross bar), in a way that assures the conservation of the natural and mechanical features of the grating, after any processing and under any conditions. These gratings are characterized by a high stability and a perfect distribution of load.
The production line of gratings is fully automated. It is among the most modern machines in Europe. With the appropriate set-up, it can produce gratings in panels with a plate width of 8 mm and in pitches 15, 25, 30, 34, 41 and 43 mm and their multiples. In this way, the production line can manufacture pitches of 50, 60 and 68 mm, which are suitable for fences.
